 · I have an ih 574, the problems with it are pto does not work spool on the mcv is moving fully, also the lift will not work unless the aux valve is pulled and it will work perfect once this is left in constant on! New filter and oil over filled but still no better!! ….

 · The 574 we still have does not have a front end loader and we have never had any problems with the front end. The electrics can be a little tempermental (British designed ) . The 540/ twin PTO can be useful as well The latter Ford s are a decent tractor as well although the Inter has a better gearbox for forward /reverse work.

Tractor Link Arms Will Not Lower

I had the same problem on my MF35 FE. In my case, the problem was the hydraulic cylinder that lifts the arms up. At the time the tractor had not been used for about 4 months, and due to moisture in the hydraulic fluid, the cylinder 'froze' (rusted) in the 'up' position.
